Nagpur: Free circulation of porn sites is gradually having its negative impact on the budding generation and this is resulting into serious crime. In a similar incident under Shanti Nagar police station, a minor boy studying in class 9th turned porn addict and could not hold his lust. Eventually he raped a 3 year old girl. The matter only came to light when the girl developed complications. Police have arrested the boy under relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act.
Interestingly, the boy belongs to a reputed family in Nagpur while the father of 3 year old girl is unemployed and being raised by his mother who is nurse by profession.
Police sources informed that the girl used to frequently play at the accused’s home and on the fateful day, she went as usual . The boy took her on the terrace at 3 pm on the fateful day where he raped her.
Being just three year-old, the girl did not understand what happened to her. She narrated her ordeal to neighbours who were shocked to hear it. The family of the boy was also present when the girl narrated the incident and they tried everything to bury the incident and cover the crime of their son. They successfully hid the episode from girl’s mother. Meanwhile, the little girl fell sick and her mother gave her flu medications.
On last Monday, the girl was with her mother when she came across the boy. She started crying upon seeing the boy, yanked her mother’s hand off and bolted inside the home. The girl’s behaviour raised her mother’s suspicion and she gently questioned her. After realising the truth, her mother approached Shanti Nagar police and registered complaint.
It is worth a mention that despite knowing, not a single neighbour informed the the girl’s mother about the ordeal. Being a working mom, she too did not notice the change in her daughter’s demeanor, because of which, the crime went undetected for such a long time.
