Nagpur: Hundreds of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members on Tuesday took out a morcha to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) to protest nagging delay in declaration of results of various examinations and other problems being faced by students.
“The delayed declaration of results this year too has put thousands of students to untold hardships in more ways than one. The students seeking admissions to third year are in a fix. Moreover, students of professional courses are being forced to cough up exorbitant fees by hand-twisting tactics,” the students voiced their concern while participating in the morcha.
Other demands of the ABVP pertained to affordable education to poor and meritorious students at reputed institutes, stern action against those colleges who indulge in fraudulent acts on scholarship issue, evaluation of answer papers by recognized teachers be made mandatory, the students getting passed after revaluation should be returned the revaluation charges, timely declaration of results and such many more demands for which hundreds of ABVP members marched to the RTMNU.
