Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has stoked the raging debate over acts of intolerance. Speaking at a programme organized by a group of newspaper on Monday, Aamir Khan said that insecurity and fear had gripped even his wife as well. “For the first time, Kiran (wife) said, they should leave India,” state the star. However, the statement of Aamir Khan drew an impromptu retorts from various quarters.
The Muslim Rashriya Manch, condemning the Bollywood star’s statement, said that Aamir Khan has insulted the entire nation. Akeel Khan, the Nagpur Convener of the organization which is associated with Sangh, termed Aamir Khan’s statement as aimed at breaking the nation. “The atmosphere in Hindusthan is very harmonious and is the gift of generations and generations,” asserted Akeel Khan while slamming Aamir Khan for his unwarranted statement.
