5 cases of accidental deaths reported in city, four men commit suicide, one is hit by train

Nagpur.

Five cases of accidental deaths were reported in the city on Saturday (November 1). Of the five cases, three persons committed suicides by hanging, a man was hit by a train and another ended his life by consuming a poisonous substance.

According to police, in the first incident, Sadashiv Fagulal Sahare (28), resident of Plot No. 732, Panchsheel Nagar, behind Shubh Mangal Vihar in MIDC, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling hook with the help of a nylon rope in his house. The suicide was noticed at 2 pm on Saturday. MIDC PSI Khobragade, based on the complaint lodged by Suryaprakash Sahare, has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.

In the second incident, Rajesh Haribhau Sonavane (40), residing as tenant of Bhagwan Ghormade in Vihirgaon, Hudkeshwar, ended his life by hanging to a wooden rafter with a rope in his house between 3 pm and 4 pm on Saturday. Hudkeshwar PSI Mule, acting on a complaint by Surekha Sonavane, registered a case of accidental death and investigating the matter further.

In the third incident, Pankaj Anandrao Gaekwad (27), resident of Gautam Nagar Slums, near Buddha Vihar in Jaripatka, took the extreme step by hanging to a ceiling fan with the help of a sari at about 10 pmon Saturday. Jaripatka PSI Niswade, based on a complaint filed by Kewal Gaekwad, registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.

Body of Nisar Ahmed Abdul Sattar (44), resident of Taj Nagar, Mankapur, was found on the Railway track near Pole No. 1039/7, behind Ekta Apartment at pm of Saturday. Nisar was probably hit by a running train while crossing the track. Koradi PSI Dhanorkar has registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway.

In the fifth incident, Vijay Kisan Bhurle (42), resident of Plot No. 763, Deshpande Layout, Trimurti Nagar under jurisdiction of Nandanvan Police Station, consumed a poisonous substance in his residence at 10.30 am on Saturday. As the health of Vijay deteriorated, he was rushed to a private hospital. However, Vijay died at about 7.40 pm while undergoing treatment. Nandanvan PSI Thakur, based on a complaint filed by Ajay Kisan Bhurle, has registered a case of accidental death and investigating the matter from all angles.
