43rd Coal India Welfare Board meeting held at Nagpur today. The meeting was presided over by Director (Personnel) Coal India Limited Shri. R. Mohan Das. The meeting was attended by the representatives from different subsidiaries of Coal India Limited and Singareni Colleries.

Welfare Board representatives of different companies showcased welfare activities being undertaken in their companies and focused on overall development of employees and other stakeholders through welfare activities. To strengthen and to bring poor and helpless in mainstream was mainly discussed during the meeting. Discussion was also done on skill development of unemployed youth to make them employable. Members of Coal India Welfare Board had given suggestions on various issues. Chairman Welfare Board Shri. R. Mohan Das listened Welfare Board members carefully and suggested them to implement them.

Director (Personnel) of Western Coalfields Limited Shri. Rupak Dayal briefed The Board about Welfare activities undertaken by WCL during 2014-15. Also he spoke about Vision-2020 document created by WCL, Welfare department, in which welfare activities for coming five years have been planned. The Vision document was appreciated by all the Welfare Board members.

Anand, General Manager (Personnel / Welfare), NCL Shri.A. G. Reddy and Welfare Board members of Coal India Welfare Board, Shri R. K. Chib, Shri. K. K. Singh (INTUC), Shri. Ashok Yadav (AITUC), Shri. R. P. Singha (HMS), Shri. P. S. Pandey (CITU), Shri. S. K. Pandey (BMS) and senior officials.
