4 persons usurp Rs 15 lakh land of Wardha woman fraudulently

Four persons including a relative cheated a woman to the tune of Rs 15 lakh by usurping her plot of land in the city. The accused persons forged power of attorney and made a registry of the property in their names.

The complainant, Nirmala Chintaman Patil (54), resident of Mahadeopura Ward, Wardha, owns a plot at Khasra No. 14/1, Besa Beltarodi area in the city. The four accused including Shilesh Chintaman Patil of Wardha, Nalini of Plot No. 102, near KDK College, Vilas Sahebrao Mote of LIG Colony near Tukdoji Statue and Ayyaz alias Bablu Sheikh of Khadse Layout, connived with each other and prepared a bogus power of attorney of Nirmala. With the help of the forged power of attorney, the four accused approached Sub-Registrar’s Office in Khamla and made a registry of the landed property in their names. With this fraud, the accused duped Nirmala to the tune of Rs 15 lakh.

It could not verified whether the accused Shailesh Chintaman Patil is husband of Nirmala or son.

Based on a complaint, Pratapnagar PSI Pimpalshende has booked the four accused under Sections 420, 467, 474, 34 of the IPC.
