Nagpur: Even though vighnaharta Ganapati is being welcomed with great devotional fervour in the entire state, the destiny cannot change its course and Nature cannot be stigmatized. Four farmers from Buldhana and Yavatmal districts of Vidarbha are reported to have committed suicide, all due to debt-burdened life.
They include farmer Rishikesh Khakre from Buldhana district, who ended his life by jumping into a well; farmer Datta Govindrao Kharat from Sindkhedraja taluka (Buldhana), who consumed poison to end his life; farmers Ramkisan Waghade and Gangadhar Bode, both small land holders of Yavatmal district, committed suicide. They were worried about their crop-failure. Meanwhile, the Wardha district is receiving a good rainfall.
