30 year old table-NRT 83 held its 30th Annual General Meeting recently

: The role of every office-bearers, be it the Chairman or the secretary or the treasurer and plain member, each play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization. These office-bearers facilitate the achievements of the aims and goals of the organization. Every office-bearer has a particular aspect of facilitating the operations of the Committee. The Chairperson is the leader of the formal meeting, and as such is responsible for maintaining order, conduct of business, ensuring that procedures adopted are correct and for the tone of the meetings, Providing coordination, guidance and leadership to ensure the successful functioning of the Committee and in Representing the Committee in the public domain. The Office-bearers of Nagpur Round Table-83 perform their role with all sincerity, honesty and integrity. They uphold the honour of the Tables in every facet of their lives. It was time to hand over the baton to the next player. This was efficiently done during the Annual General Body Meeting held recently.

Round Table is an international social and charitable service organization with the object of development of fellowship of young men through the medium of their business, professional occupations and community service activities, providing encouragement to active and responsible citizenship by cultivating the highest ideals in business, professional and civic traditions, promoting international understanding, friendship and cooperation, along with the extension of the association.

At Nagpur, Nagpur Round Table 83 has been consistently working for the long term national project, “Freedom through Education” by building schools, providing infrastructure, educational accessories, health care and any other social requirement which benefits the society at large. We believe that true freedom for an individual comes only through education.

Past Area Chairman Square Leg Neeraj Gupta came from Raipur to attend this 30th Annual General Meeting of Nagpur Round Table 83 as the Area Observer from Area III.

At a glittering function outgoing Chairman Tabler Gaurav Agrawal handed over the charge to Louis Marchesi Fellowship Tabler Nilay Verma as the Chairman for the year 2016-17.

The outgoing Chairman Tabler Gaurav Agrawal presented the highlights of the activities and projects undertaken last year to the august gathering which were highly appreciated and presented the Table Awards for the Year 2015-16 to the following:

  • Most Dedicated Tabler -Tabler Sahil Jain and Tabler Rahul Agrawals
  • Most Promising Tabler -Louis Marchesi Fellowship Tabler Kapil Hirani
  • Best Attendance           -Louis Marchesi Fellowship Tabler Piyush Daga
  • Best Project -Tabler Ritesh Saraf and Tabler Rahul Agrawala
  • Best Tabling Couple -Manisha and Nilay Verma
  • Best Convener -Tabler Sharad Agrawal
  • Star of the Table -Tabler Sharad Agrawal

Veteran Tablers Vijay Bajaj and Atul Gupta honored the incoming team to the head board by presenting them their jewels for the year 2016 – 17. Louis Marchesi Fellowship Tabler Nilay Verma as the Chairman Nagpur Round Table 83, Tabler Gaurav Agrawal as the Immediate Past Chairman, Tabler Sahil Jain as the Vice Chairman, Tabler Ritesh Saraf as the Secretary and Tabler Pankaj Tapadiya as the Treasurer. Veteran Tablers Girish Dewani and Kapil Bahari were honored with the Honorary Tablers and Jewels for the year 2016 – 17

, in his acceptance speech thanked every Tabler for electing him as the Chairman and outlined his plans for the coming year which includes a New School Project and continuation of the old projects, various community development programs, etc.

Chairman then thanked the current, past and visiting Tablers, Wives and Circlers and guests for making it to the Annual General Meeting and for their valued guidance and support for making tabling a success. Secretary Tabler Ritesh Saraf proposed a vote of thanks.
