Nagpur: Three persons, including a woman, have been booked by Dhantoli police on the charges of outraging modesty of a woman and also threatening to burn her and husband alive.
The accused Raju Sinha, Isha Sinha and Lalsingh Thakur, all residents of Dhantoli area, entered the house of the 27-year old woman of the same area around 4 pm on Monday and started hurling filthy abuses on her. The accused trio caught hold of her hand, pushed her on ground and indulged in vulgar acts. The accused also threatened to burn her and husband alive. The reason behind the accused trio resorting to high-handed act and scary threat could not be ascertained.
Dhantoli Assistant PSI N L Bhalavi, acting the victimised woman’s complaint, has registered a case against the three accused under Sections 354, 323, 504, 506(B), 34 of the IPC. No arrests have so far been made.
