The Crime Branch of city police rounded up three juvenile delinquents who were involved in stealing two-wheelers from different parts. Cops have recovered three motorcycles collectively worth Rs 1.95 lakh. A jack used for lifting four-wheelers has also been seized from the three juvenile offenders.

The sleuths of Crime Branch were on the trail of bike lifters on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Dhanpal Suryabhan Badge (23) of Sonbanagar. Badge’s two-wheeler was stolen from Wadi Police Station jurisdiction on December 10-11, 2016.

During the investigation, cops received information about role of the three juvenile delinquents who had stolen motorcycles from different areas of Pratapnagar, Ganeshpeth, Kotwali and Ajni Police Stations. The three accused were rounded up and during the course of questioning, they confessed stealing of bikes. Subsequently, cops recovered two Bajaj Pulsar motorcyclys worth Rs 1.40 lakh, a Hero Honda bike worth Rs 25,000 and a car jack worth Rs 2000 from possession of detained juveniles.
