25-year-old youth dies in road mishap

: In a sad event that occurred on November 18, 2016, a 25-year-old youth died after slipping from a two-wheeler on which he was riding in the pillion seat. The deceased is identified as Praveen Ragde. The cops of Kotwali Police Station have registered a case of accidental death.

In the course of the investigation it came to fore that the two-wheeler was being driven by the cousin of the deceased Praveen Ragde aged 25 years identified as Mayur Shendre aged 25 years. Mayur Shendre was said to have driven in a rash manner. In spite of the fact that the cement road was very slippery with sand and loose gravel lying on the road, the rider Mayur Shendre ignored it and continued in a very fast speed. This was the main reason for the vehicle slipping and falling. The deceased Praveen Ragde fell down and incurred grievous injuries.

The victim Praveen Ragde was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.

The cops of Tehsil Police Station have since registered an offence against the driver Mayur Shendre.

According to police sources, the deceased Praveen Dilip Ragde aged 25 years and a resident of TB Ward, Imambada area was coming to the city from Tumsar sitting in the pillion seat behind his own uncle’s son Mayur Shendre on November 18, 2016. His cousin was said to be riding a two wheeler bearing RTO registration No MH-49/ N-0242.

When the duo reached Apsara Square near Reshimbagh, since the vehicle was being driven very fast, suddenly the driver Mayur Shendre lost control and both fell down on the road. However, Praveen Ragde incurred grievous injuries to his head and became unconscious. The Tehsil Police will be arresting the cousin of the deceased Mayur Shendre.
