Nagpur: In yet another case of inhumanity and lecherousness, a young girl was continuously abused physically under the pretext of getting married to her in Ajni area. According to police sources, a case has been registered against an accused identified as Abhilash Meshram aged 23-years-old and a resident of a house near Trisharan Chowk.
According to police sources, the accused Abhilash Meshram had established physically relationship (rape) the victim a 21-year-old girl and resident of Vasanth Nagar under the pretext or promise of getting married to her. However, when the victim started to ask him about the marriage, he had been dilly-dallying the issue. In spite of repeated requests of marriage, when the accused went on deferring the issue, she demanded the marriage immediately to which straightaway denied to get married to her.
When the victim saw that she has been taken on a ride, she lodged a case against the accused Abhilash Meshram in Ajni Police Station. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Police Sub Inspector More of Ajni Police Station registered a case under section 376 and 417 of Indian Penal Code. The accused has since been arrested and are investigating further.
