Nagpur News: Tension ran high in Ambedkar Nagar when body of a 17-year old boy was found with his face smashed by a big stone. The boy was alleged to be involved in many thefts.
According to police, the boy Shahzad Rizwaan Sheikh (17) was brutally murdered by some unidentified people and his body found on Thursday (April 17) morning in Ambedkar Nagar under Wadi Police Station jurisdiction. Police suspect role of Shahzad Rizwaan Sheikh’s accomplices in the murder over sharing of stolen booty. The body of Shahzad Rizwaan Sheikh bore serious injury marks with his crushed by a stone. The boy was allegedly involved in number of theft cases and was arrested several times.
Family members of Shahzad told cops that they were not in touch with him for the past one and half years because of his criminal activities. On the morning of April 17, somebody noticed the body and informed Wadi police about the matter. Wadi police reached the spot and after completing paper formalities, sent the body to Government Medical College and Hospital for post mortem. The murderers are still at large and police are searching for them. However, the Wadi police have arrested three suspects after initial investigation.
